Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. Data Collection

Clack does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer. All voice data is sent directly to your self-hosted server.

2. Voice Data

Your voice audio is streamed in real-time to the relay server you configure. It is used for speech-to-text transcription and AI response generation. The App itself does not store recordings.

3. Server-Side Processing

What happens with your data on your server depends on your server configuration. The developer has no access to or control over your server.

4. Local Storage

The App stores your settings (server address, auth token, preferences) locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is not transmitted to the developer.

5. Third-Party Services

Your self-hosted server may use third-party APIs (e.g. ElevenLabs for TTS, OpenAI for LLM). Refer to those services' privacy policies for their data handling practices.

6. Analytics

The App does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

7. Contact

For questions about this policy, contact the developer through the App Store listing.
